Alumni Network

During the spring of 2008, The Fresh Air Fund started its first-ever alumni network.  More than 1.7 million New York City children have participated in either our camping or Friendly Town programs since The Fresh Air Fund began in 1877. 

The Fresh Air Fund will incorporate alumni into several areas of the organization's operations from volunteering at camp or in the office, to tutoring a student in the Career Awareness Program, to spreading the word as part of The Fund's outreach program.  It is a priority for The Fund to give alumni an ever-expanding role and to become deeply involved in Fund activities.

The Fresh Air Fund is in the process of collecting names of anyone and everyone over eighteen years of age who has participated in our programs.  If you know of any alums who would be interested in becoming part of the network, please pass on names, or they can contact dnorwood@freshair.org or cclemente@freshair.org.
