The Countdown to Summer Has Begun!

Every child looks forward to summer. It means time away from school, finding fun ways to stay cool, and having long days and warm summer nights to play with friends. But for many of New York City’s inner-city children, summer means hot city blocks and limited places to play outside.

Right now, thousands of these children are counting down the days until they board the bus headed to Fresh Air Fund camp, or to a “Friendly Town” to visit a volunteer host family. But we need your help to make it possible!
