Memories from Friendly Town & Camp - Summer 2007

Amy and her host sister Zavi have fun feeding a horse at the Sheldon home in Massachusetts.

The Chin family of Long Island takes time from playing outside to pose with 12-year-old Reggie of New York City, who has been visiting them for six summers.

Fresh Air campers visit the model farm, one of the highlights of Sharpe Reservation in Fishkill, NY where The Fresh Air Fund has five camps.

Children who attend Camp Mariah take classes that open up endless possibilities of careers.  The campers pictured here are enjoying a dance class.

12-year-old Isa of New York City has stayed with the Destakasi family in Vermont for three summers and enjoys having four brothers when he visits!

Families who host Fresh Air children in the same area during the summer often get together so that everyone may play and meet one another!

Children who attend Fresh Air camps get the opportunity to take part in many fun activities in the outdoors, such as hiking, volleyball, swimming and for older children, a ropes course!
